Our research department is devoted to understanding molecular mechanisms of inter- and intracellular communication. The scientific endeavors cover a broad spectrum of important questions in biology, ranging from the genetics of organ development to the molecular cell biology of the immune defense. Cutting-edge techniques and model organisms are used to unravel regulatory systems which underly central biological processes.
